Cookie Policy
What cookies we use, for what purpose and how you can manage your consent.
In force from: 2026-11-02
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files saved on your device by the browser when you visit websites. Other browser storage mechanisms operate in a comparable manner, such as localStorage. In this policy we refer to all of these collectively as “cookies”.
Your consent
We use strictly necessary cookies to make the site work. We load analytics and marketing cookies only after you consent, consistent with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and PIPEDA. The organisation accountable for data gathered through cookies is Garvey Oral Surgery Training – please refer to the Privacy Policy.
Cookie categories
- Strictly necessary – remember your cookie choice and keep the form secure. Always active.
- Analytics – let us measure how the site is used so we can improve it. Loaded only after consent.
- Marketing and third-party – advertising measurement and external content. Loaded only after consent.
Cookies we use
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Category | Period |
|---|---|---|---|---|
fcytl (localStorage) | Garvey Oral Surgery Training | Remembering your cookie choice and keeping forms secure | Strictly necessary | 12 months |
At present, the site sets no analytics or marketing cookies – these categories exist in anticipation of potential activation and would require your explicit consent before use. Fonts are served from our own server.
Google Consent Mode v2
Before you consent, all signals (analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) default to “denied”, and analytics and advertising scripts are not loaded. Upon your consent, the statuses are updated to reflect the choice you have made.
How to change or withdraw consent
You may update your preferences at any time by selecting "Cookie settings" in the footer found on every page. Declining consent is just as straightforward as accepting it, and withdrawing your consent has no bearing on any processing that took place prior to that withdrawal. You can also manage cookies in your browser settings.
